Covid Level 1 Update – 6 July 2021

All of NZ is currently at Level 1, after the Wellington Region was recently put into Level 2 for 5 days ending on June 30. The travel bubble is currently open with some states of Australia. The factory continues to operate normally. We urge everyone to use the Covid App and scan QR codes and take the other public health measures recommended by the NZ government. We must resist the temptation to be complacent, as the risk of Christchurch being put into higher Covid Levels still exists if there is an outbreak, especially if it is one of the more virulent variants of the virus. The world’s shipping and freight systems have been badly affected by the pandemic, and so has the global supply chain of electronic components. HamiltonJet is not immune from these universal problems for businesses, and we are working hard to minimize the impact of these issues on our business and our customers.
