We are currently seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join our team. Successful candidates will have proven experience setting and operating CNC machines and will be available to work on any shift.
What you'll do:
Set-up and operate CNC Machines, which range from three, four, and five Axis Mill Turning Centres, Horizontal Machining Centres, and Horizontal Borers
Reviewing detailed drawings and specifications to ensure materials, methods, and machine settings align with production needs
Performing precision measuring, managing machine faults, and ensuring the highest standard of quality
Conducting regular maintenance checks to keep machinery running smoothly
Ensuring the production meets deadlines while maintaining a commitment to safety
What we're looking for:
Trade qualification or at least three years of CNC machining setting experience
Experience with Fanuc controls, knowledge of Okuma and Heidenheim controls would also be a bonus
A solid understanding of CNC machinery setup, operation, and troubleshooting
Strong numeracy and attention to detail
The ability to work independently and meet production goals in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment

We are seeking an experienced Foundry Manufacturing Engineer to join our world class Manufacturing Engineering team. This is a pivotal technical role supporting new product introduction (NPI), capital equipment procurement, and continuous improvement initiatives across our three foundry operations. Working at the intersection of engineering design and heavy manufacturing, you will play a key role in ensuring our foundry processes remain efficient, capable, and aligned with future product and production demands.
About the role
You will work closely with the NPI team, production teams, and external suppliers to ensure projects meet performance, quality, safety, and cost objectives while aligning with operational requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
Designing and developing aluminium sand-casting patterns and AB2 patterns to support new product introduction and product evolution.
Ensuring all pattern and tooling designs comply with HamiltonJet standards, engineering best practice, and foundry capability requirements.
Scoping, planning, and executing capital equipment procurement projects across aluminium, stainless steel, and AB2 foundry operations.
Managing supplier relationships throughout the specification, build, installation, commissioning, and validation phases for new and modified patterns, and capital equipment.
Coordinating installation and commissioning activities to minimise production disruption and ensure safe implementation.
Leading and supporting continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality, productivity, cost reduction, and process capability.
Providing technical support to foundry operations to resolve process challenges and improve casting performance.
Contributing to long-term foundry strategy and capacity planning.
About you
You will bring a strong engineering foundation and practical experience within metal casting or heavy manufacturing environments. You are comfortable working both on the floor and in design systems, and you enjoy turning ideas into practical, production-ready solutions.
Ideally, you will have:
A degree in Mechanical or Metallurgical Engineering.
Demonstrated experience in aluminium sand casting, pattern design, or foundry process engineering.

We are seeking a motivated Foundry Trade Assistant to join our team on a fixed-term contract, with availability to work our afternoon shift. This position would suit someone seeking an entry-level engineering trade role who is keen to establish a career in the engineering or metal casting industry. Candidates will ideally have completed a pre-trade qualification, demonstrate a strong mechanical interest, or have experience using hand tools.
In this role, you will process metal castings using grinders and other power tools, as well as perform water blasting to remove sand moulds and refine castings. You will also repair minor defects and surface porosity to ensure high-quality finished products. This is a hands-on role that involves the regular use of a range of tools and daily manual handling tasks within a metal casting and foundry environment.
