MS Rosesol is the first of two ambulance boats commissioned by Helse Førde. MS Rosesol is currently stationed in Hardbakke, located in the municipality of Solund.

Powered by twin HamiltonJet HTX42 jets with AVX control systems, the vessel operates in the region extending from Gulen in the south to Atløy in the north. Measuring 23 meters in length and 7.8 meters in beam, the vessel is reaching a top speed of 32 knots. A designated winch area is located on the roof, enabling patient hoisting via helicopter, or allowing medical personnel to be winched aboard.

Onboard, the vessel features a 32 m² treatment room equipped with two stretcher bays, allowing for the simultaneous treatment of two patients. As one of the largest and most advanced ambulance vessels built in Norway, MS Rosesol prioritizes both performance and safety. Particular attention has been given to ensuring excellent seaworthiness in challenging weather conditions, providing a secure and comfortable environment for both patients and crew. The vessel is also equipped with cutting-edge navigation systems to support safe operation in all weather scenarios.
